Our Mission

 

Sunflower Roots Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable and educational organization dedicated to strengthening intergenerational connection and community well-being. We design and implement evidence-informed programs that bring together seniors, children, and youth through creative expression, cultural exchange, storytelling, and service learning.

Our mission is to reduce social isolation among older adults, foster social-emotional development in youth, and preserve cultural knowledge by creating structured opportunities for meaningful interaction across generations.
